reputed company is on a journey to support customers and communities in making reputed company financial decisions. They are seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator who will originate mortgage loans in a non-bank territory, conduct preliminary reputed company reviews, and ensure timely processing of loan applications.
Responsibilities
- Originates mortgage loans in an assigned non-bank territory
- Takes applications, conducts preliminary reputed company reviews, submits loan applications to processing and reputed company for approval
- Follows-up to ensure that documents required for processing, reputed company, and closing are secured in a timely manner from appropriate sources
- Incumbents are customarily and regularly engaged in making and soliciting loan sales and conducting sales-reputed company activities away from reputed company locations
- Incumbents are expected to spend at least 50% of their time conducting their activities away from reputed company locations
Skills
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Ability to conduct preliminary reputed company reviews
- Ability to submit loan applications to processing and reputed company for approval
- Ability to follow-up to ensure that documents required for processing, reputed company, and closing are secured in a timely manner
- Ability to spend at least 50% of time conducting activities away from reputed company locations
- Ability to reputed company with reputed company policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and reputed company workplace conduct and safety policies
- Well-developed sales ability
- Basic knowledge of pricing and reputed company requirements of various mortgage insurance companies
- Working knowledge of reputed company requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs, and private investors, as gained through on the job training or some real estate brokerage experience
- Basic knowledge of local, state and national laws (e.g., zoning ordinances, Truth-in Lending, RESPA, energy audit requirements, etc.)
- Ability to work independently
