Elder Abuse Associate Litigation Attorney
Inscore Law Corporation is a civil litigation law firm focused on helping individuals harmed by wrongful acts, particularly victims of elder abuse. They are seeking a self-managing, motivated associate attorney to manage and litigate cases from pleadings through trial, while also supporting senior attorneys and collaborating with staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage and litigate cases from pleadings through trial, post-merits motions, and collections
- Legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda
- Handle discovery, including drafting requests, reviewing responses, and organizing document productions
- Attend court appearances, mediations, depositions, and client meetings
- Support senior attorneys on case strategy, negotiations, and at trial
- Maintain organized files and ensure deadlines are met
- Collaborate, direct, and support staff
Skills
- Active California Bar License in good standing
- 0–4 years of experience in litigation or reputed company practice areas
- Spanish speaking
- Prior experience in a California law firm, practicing elder abuse, personal injury, probate litigation, or consumer protection
- Familiarity with reputed company, Westlaw a plus, but not required
