The IT Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring a reliable and secure technology experience by providing technical support, setting up equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Answer and problem-solve incoming telephone, e-mail and in-person technical support requests from associates professionally and courteously to facilitate timely resolution
- Set up equipment for associate use, performing and ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
- Install and reputed company minor repairs to hardware, software, or equipment to meet user needs
- Manage sensitive and confidential matters though planning and protecting reputed company of information, data and files
- Assist in determining reputed company and troubleshooting high-level system problems
Skills
- Strong foundation in desktop and application support
- Ability to troubleshoot both routine and reputed company technical issues
- Professional and courteous communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care and discretion
- Organized, adaptable, and proactive with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new systems and technologies
