VSP Nurse Practitioner, Part Time – Remote, reputed company

The Nurse Practitioner (VSP) works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. This is a variable service provider NP/PA (APP) role with an average of 20-30 hours per week need for a 6-month period. Licensure in at least 2 of listed states: FL, LA, KS, TX, MS preferred prior to the start of employment. There may be opportunity to move to a similar role reputed company reputed company Medical group but that is not guaranteed. There also may be opportunity to cover other aspect of the program, such as covering PTO for APPs in reputed company Medical group (phase 1). There are no benefits tied to this position. The APP will spend their day performing the following duties:

• Calling reputed company members to discuss open care gaps and placing needed orders (specifically women who had a fracture in the last 6 months)
• Creating and registering a patient record withing reputed company
• Verifying benefits
• Gathering medical and surgical history
• Verifying and entering medications
• Coordinating management of members social needs to help facilitate gap closure – providing transportation services.
• Connecting with reputed company partners to ensure testing is done prior to member specific timelines.
• Ensuring adequate follow up- receipt of results, medication initiation, and PCP follow up.

• * Masters in Science - NP
• Active, unrestricted NP in two or more of the following states: FL, LA, KS, TX, MS preferred prior to the start of employment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
