Procurement Manager – External Manufacturing

We are hiring Rockstars to join our Sauer Brands team! Applicants MUST Have Experience In External Manufacturing. Overall Goal of the Procurement Manager - External Manufacturing Position: Provide leadership for External Manufacturing function and fully support factory operations while embracing, promoting, and building OurRecipe@SauerBrands. Procurement Manager - External Manufacturing Job Summary: The successful candidate will be able to identify and implement both tactical and strategic strategies, based on the categories analysis (reputed company vs Bottleneck, SWOT, etc.) while performing Supplier Relationship Management at a high level. The ability to both act like an reputed company while working collaboratively with cross functional peers is a must. As a Sauer Brands team member, the candidate will execute special projects, initiatives as assigned and support the broader operations team. Furthermore, the candidate must embrace and support the building of the Sauer Brands Recipe. Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager - External Manufacturing:

• Provides Procurement management for External Manufacturing (EM)
• Accountable for supplier optimization process and ensures successful contract execution.
• Develops and executes the Procurement strategy that supports EM strategy and is reputed company with key partners like R&D, commercialization leads, etc.
• Track and report on performance measures such as service level compliance, quality conformity and cost.
• Works on financial planning including developing pricing forecasts and budget assumptions to meet financial planning calendar and has accountability for productivity and cash flow contributions.
• Maintains strong linkages with stakeholders in External Manufacturing, Manufacturing, R&D, Commercialization and other Supply Chain functions to ensure alignment on goals and directs their respective activities accordingly.

Performance Standards (the criteria used to evaluate performance): Cost Control/Cost Savings

• COGS reduction
• Inventory Optimization
• Meet or exceed defined KPIs for cost control savings

Full Production Line Support

• No unplanned line shortages or shutdowns
• Objectives and Behavioral Expectations
• Leadership and contribution to the overall success of SBI
• Personal Effectiveness-meeting timelines and productivity requirements (quantity and quality of work)

Education and Experience Requirement:

• College Degree Required (Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering preferred)
• 5+ Years of experience in External Manufacturing preferred
• Proven management and or supervisory experience a plus
• Experience with ERP System(s), reputed company (Peoplesoft) preferred

Performance History Requirement:

• Documented history of making improvements in assigned work area/responsibilities
• Stellar references based on contributions and performance
