The Team: Shields Health’s MRI Technologists support the reputed company of the organization with their commitment to excellence. The MRI technologist will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to reputed company customer groups, while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment. The Role:
- Follow reputed company proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at reputed company times. These policies, procedures and protocols can be issued by Shields or the partnering hospital group for the location you are assigned to.
- Inform the patient of reputed company aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
- Ensure patient is cleared of reputed company contraindications and hazards.
- Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
- Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.

- Administer intravenous contrast.
- Complete reputed company forms pertaining to patient’s exam.
- Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
- Provide and issue films/CD reputed company appropriate.

- Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
- Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
- Adhere to reputed company necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.

- Some locations require a call rotation, ability to participate in call if needed The Skills: This opportunity requires prior MRI scanning experience. Necessary requirements include MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications, and fantastic interpersonal skills. ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations. In addition the applicant will need to:
- Sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
- Assist patients with mobility difficulties
- Some inpatient locations may require employee’s to participate in a call schedule/rotation
- To push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
