Position Overview: The Divisional Controller of Property Accounting oversees institutional client and trust accounting operations across multiple markets, driving results through strong general ledger expertise, strict adherence to accounting principles, and compliance with Real Estate Commission Trust Accounting Regulations. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution, ensuring robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets while fostering innovation and efficiency. Partnering closely with internal teams and institutional clients, the Controller delivers accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting, anticipates client needs, and implements strategies that enhance operational and financial success. Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; real estate experience preferred
• 5+ years in a supervisory accounting role; 7+ years of general ledger accounting experience
• High proficiency in accounting software; AppFolio experience preferred
• Expertise in both cash and accrual basis reporting
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and client relationship skills
