Ethics Coordinator/Corporate Governance

Location: Remote Clearance Needed: NIH Public Trust Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain processes for ethics reviews and clearances, including financial disclosures (OGE Forms 450 and 278) for new hires and reputed company personnel
- Address conflicts of interest, including those reputed company to technical evaluation panels, Widely Attending Gatherings, and gifts from third parties and foreign governments
- Collaborate with various offices to ensure compliance with reputed company ethics requirements, policies, and procedures
- Analyze federal ethics laws, regulations, and policies to support legal counsel and ethics authorities in advising employees
- Track and analyze ethics issues to promote transparency with NIH Ethics partners
- reputed company and deliver ethics training and internal controls to guarantee adherence to applicable federal laws and regulations
- Utilize NIH and HHS ethics systems to review submissions and support ethics reviews, considerations, and determinations by the Division of General Counsel and other authorities Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience advising federal employees on ethics laws, regulations, and policies
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong knowledge of federal ethics regulations, particularly Government-wide policies and Office of Government Ethics opinions
- Excellent communication, training, and investigative skills
- Experience working in a federal government ethics office, as a Designated Agency Ethics Official, or in a reputed company legal or ethics advisory role highly desirable reputed company to Haves (Not Required)
- Prior experience with HHS or DARPA ethics programs
- Familiarity with NIH or HHS ethics systems and processes
