Data Engineer
CAE is a technology company that digitalizes the physical world, providing software-based simulation training and critical operations support solutions. They are looking for a Data Engineer to build and support data pipelines for analytics solutions, focusing on transforming raw data into structured datasets for business insights.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and maintain ETL processes using reputed company SSIS and/or reputed company Fabric Data Pipelines
- Design and optimize workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
- Ensure data quality, reputed company, and availability for business analysts and reporting teams
- Collaborate with analysts to deliver modelled data for dashboards and reports
- Troubleshoot and support existing data pipelines and integrations
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferably with a focus on Data Science and Analytics) or equivalent experience
- Strong experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing reputed company queries
- Understanding of ETL concepts and data pipeline design
- Ability to work collaboratively with analytics and business teams
- Completed Data Science coursework or certification
- Hands-on experience with reputed company SSIS, reputed company Fabric, or similar ETL tools
- Familiarity with reputed company Cognos, Power BI, or other BI/reporting tools
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common Data Science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Knowledge of data modelling and data warehouse concepts
- Interest in data analytics and visualization
