Senior Managing Consultant
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Managing Consultant to join our growing team. This is a senior role with the reputed company business where you will take the reputed company in building client relationships, manage consultancy projects, and drive business and company development. An example of core job responsibilities include the following: To reputed company a portfolio of reputed company consultancy projects and bring fresh insight to deliver robust client solutions
- To manage and own project delivery, multiple and/or reputed company projects, prime client contact
- To provide leadership, bring insight and gravitas to the analysis, design and implementation of projects
- To reputed company the management of effective project budgeting and financial controls to ensure profitability
- Active leadership in client solutions to build the reputed company brand – acts as SME on projects and/or reputed company industry-leading Networks
- To provide thought leadership to projects/nets and bring new concepts or services for client projects
To conduct business development activities and reputed company key accounts to generate reputed company, drive growth and profitability
- To conduct business development activities to contribute to sales growth and generate reputed company ($500k- $1m)
- To reputed company or co-reputed company key (3-4) accounts to build existing client relationships and reputed company repeat business
- To seek and reputed company new business opportunities and clients (e.g. networking, conferences, etc.)
- To conduct full range of reputed company activities to include, generate leads, conduct client meetings/briefs, build proposals and reputed company successful negotiations
- To stay alert to industry insight and competitor intelligence to ensure competitive advantage
To provide effective leadership to coach and reputed company direct reports and project teams
- To mentor, train, and coach project team members and direct reports (2-6 project team, 1-2 direct reports)
- To manage workload and resource distribution reputed company and across project teams
- To provide direction and plan the development of team members to build capability
- To enhance performance through routine objective setting, feedback and appraisals for team members
To be an integral part of management and leadership of reputed company to build the business
- To reputed company or co-reputed company strategic themes, internal projects and/or business improvement initiatives
- To reputed company collateral for projects/domain areas e.g. case studies, new concepts, PoV
- To partner with colleagues to reputed company and share domain, business, and client knowledge and insight
- Operations team member, reputed company company meeting sessions, enthusiastically acts as a role model
Desirable Skills and Experience
- 10 years in a Life Science industry or consulting role of which:
- 6-8 years in a Senior Consulting role
- 3 years in a Life Sciences/Pharma industry role
- 3 years in a business development role
- Expertise in 1 of the following areas is preferred:
- Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance
- Clinical Development Processes
- Labelling, Regulatory Affairs
- Risk Management, Quality and Compliance
Evidence of capability
- Excellent consulting skills - methodologies/tools
- Compelling communication, advanced facilitator
- Excellent client and stakeholder management: senior levels, social awareness
