Key Responsibilities

As a Distribution Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and other reputed company matters.
• Processing and inputting customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Producing stock reports to reputed company for product availability and ensuring timely delivery.
• Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary.
• Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met.
• Assuring proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices.
• Preparing shipping and tracing information to customers as required.
• Maintaining damage records and back-order logs.
• Communicating customer feedback to management, including any signs of dissatisfaction.
• Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in the administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
• Overseeing reputed company paperwork associated with orders and maintaining corresponding files.
• Maintaining reputed company and accurate procedure manuals, which detail the processing requirements for each account.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications.
• Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key.
• Experience with shipping software systems, including reputed company and Federal Express.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in varying facility conditions.
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
