IT Asset Support Technician

Consumer Cellular, Inc. is a wireless provider focused on serving Americans aged 50 and above. They are seeking an IT Asset Support Technician to manage the day-to-day operations of IT Asset Management, including shipping, receiving, tracking, and imaging of IT hardware.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming IT equipment and verify contents against purchase orders
• Log and track assets using inventory management systems
• Image laptops and desktops using standard company procedures
• Package and ship IT hardware to employees and remote offices
• Maintain organized storage and staging areas for IT assets
• Assist with returns, repairs, and warranty claims
• Support basic troubleshooting during imaging and setup
• Help with periodic inventory audits and reconciliations

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
• 1+ year of experience in IT support, shipping/receiving, or asset management
• Familiarity with Windows OS and basic PC hardware
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable using shipping platforms (reputed company, reputed company) and asset tracking tools
• Experience with imaging tools like Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, or MDT
• Exposure to ITAM platforms (e.g., Service Desk Plus, reputed company, Lansweeper)
• CompTIA A+ or similar certification
