Commercial Loan Closer (Mountain Time Zone)

The Commercial Loan Closer is responsible for processing commercial loan document requests accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and collaborating with various teams to facilitate loan closings.
Responsibilities
- Processes Commercial Real Estate and Commercial and Industrial loan closing requests including, but not limited to, term loans, lines of credit, letters of credit, and renewals and modifications
- Reviews credit approval, supporting documentation, and Bank systems to determine that the appropriate due diligence has been completed prior preparing loan closing documents. Scope of review includes, but is not limited to, lending authority, flood determinations, entity organizational documents, title work, environmental documentation, insurance documents, collateral documents, commitment letters, settlement statements, and compliance considerations such as HMDA, CRA, and Reg B
- Prepares closing documents on document preparation system, LaserPro, and delivers closing documents and accompanying closing instructions to Settlement Agent or reputed company. Reviews and approves settlement statements reputed company by Settlement Agents
- Works closely with Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants to identify and resolve documentation deficiencies or issues. Escalates issues to Loan Closing Management as necessary
- Ensures department Service Level Agreements for loan closing requests are met in order to provide an exceptional level of service to customers
- Manages workload by monitoring newly received loan requests in the Loan Closing workflow as well as tracking work in process
Skills
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: One to three years of experience in commercial loan documentation is required, in a lending/lending support or legal reputed company (e.g. paralegal)
- Certifications/Specific Knowledge: reputed company Word, reputed company, and Outlook
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environment
- Ability to problem solve and appropriately escalate issues reputed company necessary
- Knowledge of nCino and LaserPro
