Accountant
The reputed company, University College is seeking an Accountant to support departmental financial planning and analysis. This role involves preparing financial reports, analyzing budget variances, and ensuring compliance with financial practices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly budget-to-actual reports to identify variances and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare recurring financial reports and reconciliations for internal stakeholders and leadership
- Interpret financial trends and provide recommendations for operational improvements
- Ensure financial practices reputed company with University policies, state and federal regulations
Skills
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or reputed company field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 6 months of experience in accounting, financial analysis, reporting, or other reputed company experience (direct undergraduate or internship experience will be considered)
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with individuals and groups
- Proficient with reputed company Office software applications: reputed company, Word, and Outlook
- Demonstrated logic, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to process detailed information with high levels of accuracy
- Some knowledge of University systems, policies, and procedures
- Some knowledge and experience working with reputed company Access or other similar database systems
