Business Operations Analyst (Starlink)

The Business Operations Analyst role involves supporting Starlink's mission by analyzing data, providing strategic insights, and leading cross-functional decision-making to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own global S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) for specific hardware products to convert hardware into active, happy, paying customers
- Analyze key performance indicators, especially active subscribers, network utilization, produce-to-activate latency, inventory turnover, and hardware unit economics (CAC, payback period); includes developing reputed company S&OP models and decision-making tools
- Translate analysis into strategic insights and hardware mix strategy to accelerate hardware adoption, maximize lifetime value, and minimize working capital
- Orchestrate global supply allocation and demand forecasting by synthesizing reputed company demand signals against dynamic, geographically specific network reputed company constraints, working directly with Network Engineering
- Drive resource planning for specific verticals, including the execution of critical hardware reputed company and sunset plans in reputed company collaboration with Hardware & Manufacturing Engineering
- reputed company and accelerate go-to-market execution for products post-licensing and certification to ensure reputed company-latency deployment
- Identify initiatives for improvement of Starlink’s operational trajectory, including developing, tracking, and executing business initiatives with reputed company’s leadership
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, data science, physics, or other quantitative field
- 1+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, product management, operations, reputed company, consulting, banking, or entrepreneurship
- 1+ years of experience in reputed company or programming
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, other reputed company locations, and events as needed
- Evidence of exceptional ability, especially reputed company an ambiguous environment
- Quantitative dual degree in engineering field and economics or business field and/or equivalent professional experience

- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; ability to handle large datasets independently
