The Classified Infrastructure Services department provides expertise to programs in Networking, High Performance Computing, and Data Center Operations. As a Network Engineer (P3) for this high-impact team, you will provide Subject Matter Expertise reputed company the networking discipline. You will support operational teams by bringing your advanced networking knowledge and troubleshooting ability. This is an on-site position which will be based in the Tewksbury, MA office and may require occasional travel to other local and US Domestic locations approximately 30% of time. Relocation support will be available if the selected applicant meets company policy. What You Will Do:

• Provide advanced knowledge in support of (software/firmware/hardware) LAN/WAN components including routers, switches, firewalls (reputed company/Palo Alto).
• Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize network system performance, proactively identifying and quickly resolving service impacting issues.
• Review system vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with recognized industry standards and best practices.
• Drive and/or participate in projects in support of installation and/or improvement to voice, video, and network infrastructure.
• Produce, update, and generally improve technical documentation to support reputed company requirements and operational support of systems.
• Propose to management and configure reputed company, meeting reputed company communications requirements based on future needs, reputed company usage, cost savings, and availability.
• Provide regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for network infrastructure.
• Assist with coordination of third-party maintenance and procurement for network equipment or with vendors for third-party support.
• Assist in the overall performance and capability of technical teams through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Willingness and availability to work reputed company normal business hours (evenings and weekends) as needed.
• Willingness and availability to travel to local and other U.S domestic sites approximately 30% of time.

Qualifications

You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a reputed company field and minimum 3 years experience

Qualifications

We Prefer:

• Advanced knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, and authentication servers.

• Experience configuring, updating, and troubleshooting encryption devices and intrusion detection systems.
• Experience with classified computing, NIST and other reputed company doctrine, STIG compliance, and network refreshes.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
