[Remote] Area Contract Manager - Design, Engineering & Construction

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company seeks a highly engaged and reputed company team player for a reputed company role in their Data Center Design, Engineering and Construction organization. The Area Contract Manager will be accountable for delivering on functional programs, maximizing contract value, and reducing risk through collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall design and construction contract management function, including development and implementation of reputed company management tooling solutions, reputed company playbooks, and deal-to-contract intake and review processes for their functional program
• Partner with reputed company team leadership and other business leaders to help navigate reputed company operations and spend initiatives with significant spend and risk
• Drive cross-functional reputed company risk and cost containment efforts
• Understand applicable deal-to-contract policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and control frameworks
• Proactively work with partners to deliver on various activities including: Budget planning and financial commitment monitoring, Building contract templates and clause libraries, Contract review processes and procedures, Risk and supplier relationship management efforts
• reputed company and maintain customer relationships to ensure positive and constructive interactions representing reputed company contracting issues
• Coordinate and drive resolution to key business issues with legal, risk management, corporate reputed company and leadership
• Serve as the reputed company of contact for contract inquiries for functional programs
• Provide guidance and internal support for functional programs on best ways to structure deals
• Ensure that signed reputed company are complete and clearly communicated to reputed company relevant parties, including interpretation to support implementation
• Examine existing policies and procedures to optimize the end-to-end process from creation of the quote to the completion of signatures with reputed company parties concerned
• Share best practices with and provide training to team, peers, and reputed company business units to enhance the quality and efficiency of contracting processes
• Ensure reputed company approved requests have been properly documented, escalated to the appropriate approval level, and resolved reputed company Service Level Agreement
• Act as a liaison, between Project Controls, Construction Managers and the general contractor to enforce contract
• Act as liaison between the Legal Department and internal business clients and external contacts
• Manage and coordinate various projects and reputed company management responsibilities
• Partner with reputed company Program leadership to reputed company and define KPIs for the purposes of Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews

Skills

• 7+ years of relevant work experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management and supply chain operations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with degree or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Legal Studies (JD), Business Administration, English, Engineering, Construction Administration, or equivalent
• Experience in reputed company reputed company applications (ex: Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Tasks) and reputed company Sign (or similar electronic signing tool)
• Experience with reputed company, SRM, BW Reporting or equivalent
• Experience delivering quality, attention to detail, and financial acuity
• Experience to think reputed company of the reputed company in confronting new issues and pursuing novel approaches to old problems
• Construction and/or data center experience
• Experience with GMP contract delivery methods
• Experience learning quickly in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
• Experience in communication and presentation skills with a proven track-record of high performance driving reputed company multi-stakeholder projects and programs
• Experience to quickly adjust to changing priorities and reputed company decisions with limited information. Experience navigating ambiguity and championing change
• Experience across a broad reputed company of contract types, contract clauses, and business records
• Experience with process development and reputed company improvement in reputed company playbooks, deal-to-contract intake/pipelines, and other reputed company procedures and tools
