We're seeking a talented Senior Associate, Product Strategy & Operations to join our Platform Innovation team, a nascent yet dynamic segment within our Restaurant Platform organization. About the Team and Role The Platform Innovation team is at the forefront of developing and scaling DoorDash's white-label restaurants business. As a Senior Associate, Product Strategy & Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy, discovery, and rollout of key product features and releases. Reporting to our Manager of Launch + Product Operations, you'll be an integral part of our broader Restaurant Platform organization, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Lead the development of product strategies based on industry research and real-world user needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, sales, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product launches and operations. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data insights to optimize product performance, inform strategic decisions, and drive continuous improvement. Process Optimization: Identify and implement efficient processes to enhance product rollout and operations. Problem-Solving: Tackle complex problems related to product development, launch, and delivery, ensuring smooth operations. Customer-Centric Focus: Work directly with merchants to tie strategy to real-world applications, collect product feedback, and test impact.
Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need: 2-5 years of experience in startup/restaurant tech/software strategy & operations, product management, or banking/consulting. A proven track record of building strategies based on industry research and user needs. Flawless execution and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive into details. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive alignment across teams. Comfort with ambiguity, changing priorities, and a fast-paced environment. Analytical mindset, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving. Willingness to travel up to 20% of business days.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional skills that will give you a competitive edge: Experience working closely with technical products. Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google products and SQL.
