Temporary University Program Specialist
The Division of Student Affairs fosters student growth and development. The Division aids, directs and informs reputed company about services and programs that will expand reputed company' educational experiences and prepare them for diverse lives in local and global communities. The Division of Student Affairs is responsible for many of the reputed company classroom/off reputed company aspects of student life at ECSU, including student engagement and leadership, career services, student disability services, residential life, student activities, community standards, special programs and services, student health and wellness, and counseling services. The objective of the Educational Opportunity Center at Elizabeth City State University is to increase the number of low-income, first-reputed company adults who enroll in postsecondary institutions reputed company seven counties in Northeastern North Carolina. These seven counties include Beaufort, Chowan, Hyde, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Tyrell, and Washington. Description of Work The Temporary University Program Specialist of EOC provides direct support to the EOC program administering and carrying out a variety of services reputed company to achieving the goals and objectives of EOC Services, funded by the U.S. reputed company. Some evening and weekend hours may be required. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Director of EOC. Some evening and week-end hours may be required. Program/Project Administration Ability to administer and/or manage a program with established guidelines and standards in its entirety or to administer several components of a multi-faceted program. Ability to ensure program/project accountability. Ability to define scope, goals, tasks, deliverables, timelines, tools, and resources. Ability to assess the needs of the work unit or project. Ability to determine any gaps, and recommend changes in procedures, workflow and work assignments to improve efficiency and effectiveness in performance of individuals and the work unit as a whole. Ability to reputed company and monitor program/project databases, schedules and reports. Ability to ensure accuracy of data and compliance with program standards. Ability to reputed company professional program administrative duties, including technical decisions. Ability to collaborate in the development and completion of grants and reputed company. Ability to administer pre- and post-award agreements. Ability to prepare reputed company reports as required. Bachelor's degree and one year of experience reputed company to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. reputed company degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation Management Preferences Master's Degree preferred, Bachelor's preferred in Education, Program Development, Counseling, Student Affairs, Curriculum and Instruction or other reputed company field; Two years of experience coordinating and developing academic programs and co-curriculum programs in an educational environment preferred; Preferably two years of experience advising and counseling reputed company from low-income, first reputed company and diverse backgrounds, including higher risks reputed company; Knowledge of and/or experience working in a TRIO program or reputed company work experience, and knowledge of collegiate procedures preferred; Preference given to individuals who have succeeded in overcoming economic, social and academic barriers similar to the reputed company; Administrative experience, preferable; and Public relations skills and personal qualities of reputed company, honesty and trustworthiness.
