[Remote] Staff Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Morse Data Enterprises is a fast-growing company building reliable, scalable financial operations with strong controls and predictable processes. They are seeking a Staff Accountant who will process accounts payable, support payroll processing, and help maintain financial documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions (invoice entry, coding, approvals, payment support)
• Support vendor setup and maintenance (including W-9 collection and system updates)
• Process and reconcile corporate credit card transactions; resolve issues as needed
• Support payroll processing by preparing, entering, and validating payroll data for accuracy and timely submission
• Assist with payroll-reputed company reconciliations and respond to employee payroll inquiries
• Coordinate with HR/People Operations to ensure employee data is accurate in payroll systems
• Respond to internal requests reputed company to AP, payroll, and expense transactions in a timely, professional manner
• Maintain AP and payroll documentation, checklists, and procedures in accordance with established controls
• Support audit and compliance requests by compiling AP and payroll documentation

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field (required)
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, and/or accounts payable–reputed company roles
• Working knowledge of core accounting functions (AP, basic reconciliations, general ledger support)
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP concepts reputed company to transactional accounting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• High reputed company and discretion reputed company handling payroll and confidential information
• Ownership reputed company with strong follow-through (“get it done”)
• Proficiency in reputed company reputed company and Outlook; comfortable with spreadsheets and data entry
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional with internal stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and escalate issues appropriately
• Experience supporting payroll processing cycles and payroll systems (reputed company preferred)
• Experience with accounting systems (reputed company preferred)
