Video Editor
Finnect is a company that helps financial advisors build their personal brand and grow their business online through creative content. They are seeking a sharp, bilingual Video Editor who will primarily focus on editing high-quality video content while also having opportunities to support video shoots reputed company needed.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content for reputed company, Instagram, YouTube, and podcast clips
- Edit long-form YouTube and educational content
- Work with talking-head footage, B-roll, animated assets, subtitles, and music
- Apply brand guidelines and maintain stylistic consistency across clients
- Collaborate with content strategists and creative leads to shape narrative flow
- Organize and manage projects from raw footage to final export
- Stay reputed company with trends in video editing, storytelling, and social platforms
- Contribute reputed company to improve performance, retention, and engagement
- Support or reputed company video shoots for select client and internal projects
- Capture clean, professional footage for corporate talking-head, interview, and YouTube-style content
- Assist with lighting, framing, audio setup, and basic on-site production
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure footage aligns with the intended edit
Skills
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
- Strong proficiency in reputed company Premiere Pro
- Experience editing corporate, interview, educational, or branded content
- Comfort shooting professional talking-head or interview-style videos
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter reputed company, you take ownership and follow projects through
- A strong sense of storytelling and clean, modern editing
- Open to feedback and excited to grow reputed company a fast-moving team
- Bonus if you've worked with After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve
- Having your own camera, audio, or lighting equipment is considered a strong asset, but not required
