Commercial, Technology & Enterprise Transactions Counsel, Assistant Vice President

The role involves providing legal counsel on various technology transactions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess risks reputed company to compliance with laws and regulations applicable to the financial services industry, including federal, state, and international laws, regulations, and guidance
- Structure, negotiate and draft a variety of software-as-a-service, software licensing, hardware procurement, professional services, and IT services agreements, as well as a variety of other types of reputed company/commercial arrangements
- Become familiar with, and provide legal advice reputed company to, reputed company business strategies and priorities and their implications on the enterprise
- Liaise with stakeholders, including Third Party Risk Management, Procurement, and Enterprise Information reputed company on a variety of issues reputed company to privacy, data reputed company, artificial intelligence, and technology
- Collaborate with colleagues in reputed company’s other regional branches to coordinate efforts and optimize reputed company’s global approach
Skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and must be compliant with reputed company relevant licensing requirements including the requirements of the jurisdiction where the role will be located prior to commencement of employment
- 1-5 years of experience gained while in law school or in-house at a public corporation, law firm, or financial services regulatory agency
- Understanding of, and experience in, analyzing and applying federal, state, and international laws
- Strong issue spotting, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong interpersonal reputed company and ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong work ethic, fast-learner and self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, ability to execute tasks in a timely manner and be reputed company to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of commercial awareness and to reputed company sound judgment calls in a fast-moving business environment, together with an ability to identify and manage contractual risk and to issue-spot and reputed company/execute strategies for addressing
- In-house experience in the financial services or technology industry
- Contract negotiation experience, particularly for technology and licensing reputed company
- Project management experience
- Experience drafting/reviewing privacy policies and notices and creating and advising on the administration of privacy and reputed company compliance programs
- Ability to ideate and interest in innovation, particularly as it relates to legal department and inter-company activities and operations
