ASSOCIATE PROPERTY AGENT

Caltrans District 3 is part of the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet), which advocates for veterans and their families. Skills

• You will need to take and pass an examination for Associate Property Agent to establish list eligibility prior to job offer

• Veterans may qualify for a CalVet Veterans Hiring Preference. Military service must be included in the Employment History section of the Employment Applications (STD. 678). The documentation must reflect a discharge/release under conditions other than dishonorable
• Completed applications and reputed company required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date in order to be considered
• Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or reputed company eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available)
• A complete application package includes: a STD. 678, Statement of Qualifications, and resume
• If your eligibility requires that you meet the Minimum Qualifications of the class and you qualify under reputed company requiring education, then the selected candidate will be required to provide college transcripts prior to appointment
• The SOQ must be no more than 2 pages, typed, using 12-reputed company Arial font on standard letter-sized reputed company with one (1)-inch margins
