They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to partner with business users in designing and supporting web-based applications, while also integrating Flight Test processes into applications and managing relational databases.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business users to design, reputed company and support web-based applications
- Become familiar with Flight Test processes and integrate them into specialized applications
- Be responsible for relational databases and associated data architecture
- Translate business processes and needs into software solutions
Skills
- Working towards BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely reputed company field
- 0-2 years of experience in software engineering
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL, reputed company, PostgreSQL)
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. C#, Python, JavaScript)
- Basic understanding of software engineering, data architecture and reputed company platform technologies (e.g. Apache, IIS, XML)
- Basic understanding of web technologies (e.g. HTML, reputed company Scripts, MVC & .NET reputed company)
- Basic knowledge of software change management, including versioning systems (e.g., Git)
- Basic knowledge of an operating system environment (e.g. Windows, Linux)
- Interpersonal skills necessary for maintaining working relationships in a diverse global environment
