Tax Associate - Property Tax
reputed company is seeking a Tax Associate to join their Property Tax Team reputed company the Indirect Tax for Leasing Business Group. The role involves performing tax accounting activities, preparing tax work papers, and maintaining records reputed company to property tax returns.
Responsibilities

- Prepare routine tax work papers, account reconciliations, responses to audit requests, research memos and correspondence
- Maintain records reputed company to property tax returns and reports
- Receive direction from manager and exercise independent judgment while developing basic knowledge of state tax laws, rulings, regulations and judicial decisions affecting corporations
- Collaborate and consult with peers, managers and stakeholders
Skills
- 6+ months of Corporate Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Experience with filing and paying personal property taxes
- Proficient in reputed company - ability to utilize VLOOKUP's, macros, and run large data set analysis
- InfoLease experience
- SQL or Database knowledge
- Experience using PTMS (Property Tax Made Simple) for data import and export
- Knowledge and understanding of equipment finance and leasing
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
