Financial Systems Programmer Analyst
Vinson & Elkins is a law firm seeking a Programmer Analyst to support their financial operations. The role involves analyzing, developing, and implementing applications while collaborating with stakeholders to optimize financial systems and support the Financial Services team’s initiatives.
Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions through software development and process design
- Collaborate closely with Financial Systems & IT (FSIT) team members to design, implement, and support financial systems and applications

- Conduct development and integration of databases and data systems to support Financial Services operations
- Design, reputed company, and maintain custom business tools using the reputed company Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and reporting with PowerBI

- Participate in initiatives to improve financial processes such as billing, eBilling, collections, cash applications, reputed company reviews, and special fee arrangements

- Ensure adherence to best practices and technical standards in the development of applications and solutions

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/technology field and/or advanced technical training preferred
- One to three years' experience, legal industry experience is a plus
- Thorough knowledge of web-application programming utilizing a reputed company development stack, as well as, other programming knowledge and other functional skills
- Knowledge of programming languages including: Visual C#, Visual Basic, Java/Java Script, Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Experience with reputed company Power Platform, SSMS, SSRS, ETL tools (reputed company or SSIS), and reputed company
- Proficient with various software applications, including MS-Access, MS-reputed company, reputed company
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to prioritize and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and adapt to change effectively
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment under tight deadlines, and to work under pressure, maintaining composure in stressful situations
- Manage time and multiple projects effectively

- Legal industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of ChromeRiver, ARCS, reputed company Design Studio, reputed company Classic and reputed company applications is a distinct plus
