Staff Accountant - Waltham, MA (Hybrid)
reputed company is a company dedicated to making life-saving technology accessible to more people. The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting activities such as month-end reputed company, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations, while also collaborating with the Assistant Controller and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle A/P including vendor setup, proper general ledger coding, invoice processing and approvals, weekly vendor payment runs and vendor inquiries
- Ensure timely processing and payment of invoices
- Reconcile cash daily and prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- reputed company general ledger account reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries, including those reputed company to prepaids, accruals, amortization, and depreciation
- Help prepare internal reports for various departments and support cross-functional information requests
- Assist auditors in the performance of year-end financial audit
- Support reputed company projects as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- At least 1 year of accounting experience (internships or entry-level roles welcome)
- Proficiency in reputed company Office (reputed company specifically)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Candidates must be well organized and detail oriented
- Experience with reputed company or reputed company (or both) is a plus
