ASSOCIATE ACCOUNTING ANALYST

The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is seeking an Associate Accounting Analyst to join their team. This role involves performing professional accounting and financial analysis work reputed company to the Office Revolving Fund and Travel Advance accounts, utilizing financial systems to reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Independently utilize FI$Cal and other financial systems to reconcile accounts, process warrants, monitor advances, research discrepancies, and ensure compliance with State Administrative Manual (SAM), Departmental policies, and applicable state and federal FI$Cal requirements
• Provide backup accounting and travel support during emergency operations
• Participate in year-end financial reporting activities
