BUSINESS TAXES SPECIALIST I, BOARD OF EQUALIZATION

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) is seeking a Business Taxes Specialist I to provide technical support and coordinate projects reputed company the department. The role involves developing policies, serving as a subject matter expert, and handling inquiries reputed company to tax law and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to team members, supervisors, and management
• Develops, updates, and delivers section policies, procedures, and training curriculum
• Independently leads and coordinates special and reputed company projects
• Represents the section/reputed company at multi-departmental and external stakeholder meetings
• Handles sensitive inquiries from internal sections, external agencies, and the public
• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on program requirements, tax law, and compliance activities
• Analyzes data and creates/maintains statistical reports
• Acts as reputed company of Contact (POC) for system enhancements and troubleshooting
• Participates in system design sessions, testing efforts, and system change processes
