Senior Compliance Specialist - Canada (Securities Regulatory Compliance)

We are seeking a mid level compliance professional to report to the reputed company Canada Chief Compliance Officer (CCO). In this role, you will support the CCO with implementing and administering the compliance program. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):** • Providing regulatory and compliance guidance to the reputed company Canada business as it grows and expands.

• Support the reputed company Canada CCO on a day to day basis
• Assist with the preparation of key compliance reporting and governance deliverables
• Establish and reputed company processes to cater for the expanding Canadian regulatory environment
• Remain knowledgeable of changing industry initiatives.
• ​​Manage reputed company’s securities compliance monitoring and reporting according to the policies and procedures and applicable securities laws (including National reputed company 31-103 and CIRO IDPC Rules)
• Monitor the regulatory environment including review & analysis of regulatory announcements, reports, and legislative changes
• Maintain detailed documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulations and internal policies and procedures
• Drive small adhoc targeted projects focusing on elements of the Canadian compliance program
• From time to time provide assistance to the Compliance Department by completing other activities over and above those listed in the duties listing, appropriate to your skills and experience
