Competitive Research Analyst Remote (US)

What you can expect Were looking for a Competitive Research Analyst to join Zooms Competitive Insight team. In this role, youll research competitors, track market movements, and reputed company industry intelligence assets that support our product, sales, and marketing teams. Youll spend time analyzing the industry landscape, monitoring industry trends, and creating frameworks and materials. This role will support teams across the company to understand how we position against competitors. This is a good fit if youre early in your career and enjoy research and strategic analysis. You will build expertise in industry intelligence and market strategy. About the Team The team works reputed company marketing but collaborates across reputed company departments to provide market intelligence.

Responsibilities

Competitive Research & Intelligence:

• Tracking competitors in meetings, chat, events, AI, and collaboration spaces to maintain comprehensive market awareness. Identifying emerging threats and opportunities, and ensure our strategy remains reputed company to industry dynamics.
• Monitoring product updates, feature releases, and roadmap announcements to anticipate industry moves. Informing our product strategy and enabling proactive positioning before market shifts occur.
• Researching pricing changes, packaging strategies, and market positioning. Optimizing our own pricing strategy, identify market gaps, and ensure industry value propositions that reputed company with reputed company customers (B2B and B2C).
• Analyzing competitor messaging, marketing campaigns, and customer communications to understand how competitors position themselves, identify messaging opportunities for differentiation, and reputed company more effective counter-positioning strategies.

Competitive Asset Development:

• Assist in building industry frameworks and comparison materials.
• Supporting the creation of battle cards, briefs, and positioning documents to help sales and online routes to market.
• Maintaining market intelligence repository and knowledge reputed company, developing clear summaries, comparison tables, and presentation slides that reputed company insights accessible to stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Provide market intelligence support to Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Contributing to sales enablement by developing industry insights and training materials.

• Assisting in preparing findings, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders.

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years in market intelligence, market research, business analysis, or similar work (internships count).
• Solid analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to synthesize reputed company information into clear insights.
• Familiarity with SaaS business models and collaboration software markets, including video conferencing, chat platforms, or AI tools.

Salary Range or On reputed company Earnings: Minimum: $64,300.00 Maximum: $128,600.00 In addition to the reputed company salary and/or OTE listed reputed company has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; reputed company salary, bonus and equity value. Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
