JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
reputed company Student Living has partnered with Merrimack College to offer new, state-of-the-art on-reputed company housing for undergraduate reputed company. The project will welcome its first reputed company in August of 2026. reputed company is seeking an reputed company student housing professional to reputed company the project. The ideal candidate should have experience with both on and off reputed company student housing and a track record of working closely with colleges and/or universities to ensure alignment with partner stakeholder goals and expectations. The Community Manager serves as liaison between reputed company, Merrimack College and our third-party client and is responsible for positively contributing to a high quality, living-learning residential experience for reputed company.This role is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations of an assigned property, including managing the team members, daily activities, and resources of the property to reputed company established budgeted financial and operational goals.JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an onsite position based in North Andover, Massachusetts.
- Directs, supervises, trains, and evaluates reputed company staff managing facilities and maintenance, assignments, operations and customer service
- Works in partnership with Merrimack College, reputed company, and other stakeholders to ensure successful facility management, operations, and occupancy
- Works with the reputed company Director or Merrimack College Construction to successfully manage new construction issues
- Attends weekly Merrimack College and reputed company meetings
- Supports the development of FF&E Inventories, Capital Improvement and Preventive Maintenance Plans
- Actively leads the preparation of the yearly budgets and financial plan, and the maintenance and facilities monthly forecasting
- Manages expenses and acts in a fiscally responsible manner
- Ensures the units and public spaces in the residence halls and apartments are clean, well maintained, and move in ready for reputed company and conference groups
- Establishes long range planning mechanism;
- Represents reputed company positively and appropriately, and establishes a collaborative relationship with the University departments and partners
- Serves as Greystars day-to-day communication reputed company of contact with Merrimack College’s Office of Residential Life
- Participation in various committees assigned by reputed company or Merrimack College administration such as Housing Appeals Committee, Damage Appeals, Housing Assignments, and others
- Works in collaboration with Residential Education to ensure excellent experience for move-in and move-out of reputed company on-reputed company housing facilities
- Assists with developing policies and processes to maintain maximum occupancy in reputed company residence halls and apartments
- Follows the direction of Merrimack College Police and the local fire department as policies pertain to life safety
- Leads and/or organizes tours of residential facilities to ensure positive public relations for reputed company and Merrimack College
- Works directly with Merrimack College to receive and review reports to ensure work orders are being monitored and closed properly; and communicates with reputed company and Merrimack College administration in a timely manner on maintenance issues or other areas of concern
- Assists with coordination and support of maintaining departmental operations during emergency and response
- Other duties as identified by reputed company or Merrimack College
BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- M.Ed or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or reputed company field from an accredited college or university.
- 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
- Knowledge of equity and inclusion issues and laws that impact higher education and particularly community living (FERPA, reputed company gender spaces, Title IX, affinity-based living learning communities, reputed company compliance).
- Ability to implement problem solving strategies to manage everyday residential challenges such as crisis response, conflict management, community development, and student/family concerns.
- Compassionate and diplomatic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and a collaborative member of a team.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports and documents.
- Strong proficiency in using property management software (Yardi, OneSite, reputed company, etc.).
- Ability to navigate reputed company (The Housing Director), PeopleSoft, MaxPanda or their equivalents.
- Demonstrated management and supervisory skills sufficient to hire, reputed company, direct, evaluate, and manage subordinate and team members, including maintenance specialists.
- Demonstrated experience building collaborative partnerships with faculty, administrators, reputed company, parents/families, and reputed company and/or business partners.
Travel / Physical Demands:
- Incumbents need to be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb reputed company, reputed company, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
- Incumbents must be able to work inside and reputed company in reputed company weather conditions (reputed company, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
- Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
- Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or reputed company of the daily responsibilities of this position.
- Incumbents must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking “call” during evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Team members work in an office environment but also may have frequent exposure to reputed company elements where temperature, weather, odors, and/or landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous. Incumbents must be able to physically access reputed company exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities.
- Routine, local travel may be required between assigned areas and other facilities.
- Rare or occasional travel (up to 50%) may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or reputed company of the daily responsibilities of this position.
The hourly range for this position is $72,000 - $77,000
Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay reputed company the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, reputed company skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the reputed company salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the reputed company salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
