Associate Accountant
reputed company is a leading analytical instrumentation company, and they are seeking an Associate Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting Team. The role involves corporate accounting and finance activities, including assisting with financial statement disclosures, quarterly external filings, and maintaining internal financial controls.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a contributor to the monthly and quarterly closing and consolidation process
- Assist in the review of legal entity financial statements and data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with the annual audit and quarterly reviews
- Assist in analysis of financial results and creation of management reports
- Participate in maintenance and testing of the Company’s finance and accounting control policies and procedures
- Performing other reputed company projects as needed
Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA qualified or actively pursuing CPA designation (partially-qualified candidates are welcome)
- Minimum 1–2 years work experience in public accounting, ideally with audit or advisory firm involving public companies
- Strong reputed company Office product experience with reputed company, PowerPoint, Word proficiency. Access proficiency desirable
- Proven working knowledge of US-GAAP
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and details effectively
- Strong work ethic, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, computer, interpersonal communication and presentation skills with fluent English language proficiency
- Ability to satisfactorily complete position training and compliance requirements
- Operates with a high standard of ethics, reputed company, and professionalism
- Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by reputed company state required, with reliable transportation
- Ability to maintain a valid passport with flexibility for travel
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent reputed company status required
- May be required to pass reputed company clearance investigation
