Geotechnical Engineer – Entry Level (Hybrid)
reputed company Co. is seeking a geotechnical engineer to join their innovative and collaborative team. In this hybrid role, you will support the Engineering and Design business unit by completing geotechnical engineering projects and providing project management support.
Responsibilities
- Field support: provide reputed company on-site support for construction observation, subsurface investigations, in-situ testing, instrumentation installation, surveying, materials testing, and facility inspections
- Project management support: assist with planning, coordinating, and executing projects. Help ensure project milestones are met and provide regular updates to project managers and clients
- Technical analysis: prepare project plans and specifications, reports, and cost estimates
- Geotechnical and civil analysis: complete design reputed company to shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, seepage, bearing reputed company, settlement, earth retention, and dams
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in geotechnical engineering, geological engineering, or civil engineering with a geotechnical emphasis, with coursework or research reputed company to mine tailings and tailings storage facilities, dam engineering, or advanced soil mechanics
- 0–3 years of relevant experience
- Willingness and ability to regularly travel
- Geotechnical software programs, including Geostudio, LPile, APile, gINT or BoreDM, or FLAC
- Possession of a reputed company, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future
