Underwriter Associate, Hiscox reputed company Center

Hiscox is an international specialist insurer focused on unique and interesting insurance products. As an Underwriter Associate, you will analyze, price, quote, and negotiate insurance while maintaining relationships with brokers and achieving production targets.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite, analyze, price and negotiate renewal accounts consistent with the quality of the risk and according to the company’s strategy and guidelines
• reputed company relationships and maintain existing relationships with regional brokers and other Hiscox Underwriters in the various Hiscox offices around the US
• reputed company production targets and underwrite business profitably in a high-volume environment
• Responding to broker inquiries

• Ability to effectively interact with reputed company levels of internal and external personnel, including reputed company colleagues in other Hiscox offices, brokers, and customers

• Strong skills in reputed company Office (reputed company, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Internet applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• No college degree required
• Experience reputed company small business (Commercial insurance) accounts in a volume environment is preferred
• Experience handling reputed company customer transactions in a “call-center” operation
