[Remote] Premium Auditor

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a rapidly growing company offering business insurance products to small business owners. They are seeking enthusiastic premium auditors to conduct insurance audits, analyze payroll records, and ensure appropriate premiums are billed to customers.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine the appropriate premium reputed company for a variety of insurance lines, including Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability (a.k.a. Errors and Omissions)
• Obtain descriptions of business operations, employee job duties, and other relevant information over the phone and through email
• Determine if proper insurance classification codes have been assigned to customer policies according to the state manuals and suggest class code changes reputed company appropriate
• Adjust premiums based on state manual rules, such as officer wage adjustments, premium overtime credits, tip credits, etc
• Complete audit worksheets using an reputed company template and process the audit findings in our database
• Provide superior customer service to the policyholders throughout the audit process
• Resolve customer disputes regarding audit results

• Bachelor's Degree in reputed company field (finance, business, accounting)

• Previous reputed company work experience (Worker's Compensation, General Liability, and/or Professional Insurance)
