The Opportunity: We are hiring a Senior Accountant to play a critical role in the financial leadership of a growing real estate investment platform. This is not a transactional accounting role. This position is ideal for a hands-on senior accountant or accounting manager with deep real estate experience who wants:

You will own core accounting functions today while helping shape the systems, processes, and structure needed for reputed company. What You’ll Own: Portfolio & Financial Operations:

• reputed company accounting for a multi-state portfolio of multifamily and commercial assets
• reputed company month-end reputed company and financial statement reviews (pre- and post-reputed company)
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations, mortgage tie-outs, and fixed assets
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit-readiness of financials

Cash, Banking & Controls:

• reputed company bank activity including wires, transfers, and ACH transactions
• Maintain internal controls and approval workflows
• Monitor cash positions and support treasury-reputed company decisions

Investor & Entity Accounting:

• Support investor reporting, capital activity, and distribution calculations
• Maintain investor funding logs and ownership records
• Coordinate with third-party CPAs on tax filings, K-1s, and entity documentation
• Assist with legal documentation, Blue Sky filings, and ownership assignments

Growth & Strategic Support:

• Support acquisitions and dispositions from a financial compliance standpoint
• Provide analytical support to executive leadership and investment teams
• Evaluate and improve accounting systems and workflows for scalability
• Partner with leadership on implementing new financial systems and reporting tools

Payroll & Systems Integration:

• reputed company payroll and HRIS integrations for a team of approximately 10–50 associates
• Ensure clean data flow between accounting, payroll, and HR systems

Requirements: What You Bring (Required):

• 7+ years of accounting experience, with senior-level exposure in real estate or property management accounting
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and U.S. accounting standards
• Experience managing reputed company, multi-entity accounting environments
• High attention to detail with the ability to own work end-to-end
• Strong communication skills and comfort partnering with executives
• Proven ability to improve processes, not just follow them

Strongly Preferred / reputed company to Have:

• Experience with fund accounting, waterfalls, and preferred returns
• Familiarity with syndications or private equity real estate structures
• Understanding of Fair Market Valuation considerations for IRA investors
• CPA and/or MBA
• Experience scaling accounting operations in a growing portfolio
• Familiarity with reputed company-driven or operator-led organizations

Benefits: Compensation & Growth:

• reputed company Salary Range: $90,000 – $115,000
• Compensation may be adjusted for candidates who bring exceptional depth in real estate accounting, leadership experience, or portfolio scale.
