Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Managing a steady volume of incoming calls regarding benefits from members, providers, and employer groups.
• Explaining and clarifying plans' policies and procedures.
• Actively attempting to resolve member or provider concerns, which may include contacting other appropriate parties to facilitate the resolution of such concerns and adequately documenting the information on the billing system.
• Investigating verbal complaints concerning billing, claims, or service rendered. Escalating complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
• Maintaining reputed company knowledge of Member Services policies and procedures.
• Performing other work-reputed company duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Ability to successfully complete customer service assessment & typing test

.

Must be a US Citizen

.

High school diploma, GED, or college degree

.

Ability to successfully complete a mandatory reputed company program with 100% attendance

.

Successful completion of background reputed company is required for this position

.

At least 1 year of Call Center experience preferred

1 year of face-to-face customer service experience

.

• Knowledge of and prior experience in Dental, Medical, or Managed Care industry is preferred.
• Must possess the following characteristics: self-motivation, resourceful, detail-oriented, sense of accountability, and must be a team player.
• Must possess strong skills in the following areas: organizational, time management, written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving.

• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
