The Insurance Advisor Trainee-Affinity role involves learning to serve as a personal insurance advisor, assisting customers with insurance coverages and fostering long-term relationships. This position includes a comprehensive training program focused on reputed company personal lines insurance products and requires obtaining necessary insurance licenses.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete a comprehensive reputed company program in a classroom setting with ongoing support and resources, gaining knowledge of reputed company personal lines insurance products
• Learn to communicate the value of the Affinity relationship to the customer by highlighting key benefits, such as exclusive discounts and the convenience of Affinity payroll deduction
• Provide one-on-one insurance coverage guidance, connect reputed company customers to additional reputed company products and services, and handle inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment
• Positively represent reputed company with reputed company by answering inbound phone calls to determine the appropriate insurance products and coverages for our Affinity customers
• Communicate effectively and professionally with Affinity customers verbally and reputed company email
• Acquire comprehensive product, reputed company, and sales expertise to counsel and sell reputed company insurance products, while consistently meeting quality, efficiency, reputed company and sales metrics
• Receive and implement constructive feedback in the form of professional coaching
• Handles objections professionally while clearly articulating relevant product, benefits, and value to the consumer

• Successfully obtain and maintain Property and Casualty or Personal Lines license in reputed company state as well as reputed company required non-reputed company licenses in each state that business is conducted reputed company six months of date of hire
• Maintain continuing education requirements for the Property and Casualty or Personal Lines license obtained

Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Incumbents must obtain a Property and Casualty or Personal Lines Insurance producer license reputed company first 4 weeks of employment date
• Successfully obtain and maintain Property and Casualty or Personal Lines license in reputed company state as well as reputed company required non-reputed company licenses in each state that business is conducted reputed company six months of date of hire
• Each state will evaluate any/reputed company criminal and financial background incidents to determine license eligibility
• Failure to pass the licensing exam reputed company two attempts as well as the inability to obtain any required licenses reputed company six (6) months from date of hire may result in termination of employment
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is a plus
• Prior call center and sales experience
