[Remote] Program Financial Control P1

They are seeking an entry level Program Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis reputed company the Digital Modernization Sector. The role involves maintaining program reporting, supporting financial key measurements, and managing work authorizations while working closely with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of reputed company contract cost and financial data
• Weekly maintenance of program reporting, to include funding, actuals, open commits, and Material tracking
• Support monthly closing of financial key measurements (reputed company, Operating Income, etc.)
• Responsible for PR creation and management of work authorizations
• Supporting any reputed company requests by internal management and external customers
• Ability to work independently, or in a team environment and with various organizational levels

Skills

• Bachelors' Degree with less than 1 year of applicable experience
• Active Secret government reputed company clearance
• Proficient in MS Office Skills, in particular MS reputed company with development of formulas, and pivot tables
• Strong Organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle high volume of data in a fast paced, cyclical, and demanding work environment
• Proven capability and experience working both tandem and serial tasks
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
• Ability to analyze problems for root cause and implement corrective action
• Strong Problem solving skills
• Must be committed to customer service, be well organized, be able to plan and prioritize assignments, and be able to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Prior Finance experience in government contracting
• Knowledge of financial systems and applications such as: OBI, Cognos, PowerBI, Fusion, CostPoint
• FAR, GAAP and SOX knowledge
