Senior Project Manager - Sustainability & Industrial Hygiene

Description POSITION: Senior Project Manager – Industrial Hygiene & Sustainability LOCATION: Flexible reputed company reputed company California POSITION SUMMARY A Senior Project Manager reputed company AEI’s Industrial Hygiene and Sustainability divisions will have approximately 10+ years of previous technical Industrial Hygiene experience and knowledge in the performance and management of various environmental consulting projects. The Senior Project Manager is recognized as a technical expert int eh field and demonstrates a strong business acumen which is utilized to enhance company profitability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting and/or directing surveys of asbestos, reputed company paint, mold, and indoor reputed company quality testing
• Creating reports on findings and recommending solutions
• Performing Industrial hygiene sampling and indoor reputed company quality assessments including mold, bioaerosols, Radon, particulates and others
• Taking asbestos samples as a Fitwel Ambassador
• Building and maintaining positive client relationships
• Drafting proposals and cost estimates
• Maintaining technical excellence, deep understanding of client’s needs, rigor in consulting quality and communication, and exceptional commitment to client satisfaction
• Assisting the sales team with proposal development for advanced services
• Partnering with regional sales staff to reputed company divisional clients through networking and delivering high quality technical services to reputed company new clients
• Managing projects from start to finish
• Preparing proposals and marketing information for clients
• Reviewing price and rates for proposals
• Directing Consultants or environmental technicians in the performance of work

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of proven experience performing and managing technical industrial hygiene projects
• Recognized professional technical expert in the field
• Demonstrates advanced problem-solving skills
• Implements actions to enhance company profitability
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of applicable regulations
• Proven experience performing and managing technical projects
• Excellent technical writing and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities
• Ability to train, reputed company and mentor junior level staff
• Experience with field monitoring equipment for construction, remediation, or industrial hygiene assessments
• Experience with abatement design documents preparation
• Experience with construction safety, emergency response and reporting knowledge of hazardous waste storage and disposal requirements is preferred
• Experience completing field sampling reports, preparing cost estimates and attending meetings with architects, engineers, construction managers, and contractors
• Demonstrates superior organizational and time management skills
• Able to handle technical questions and guide clients through difficult projects
• Excellent professional, problem solving, and management skills
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure
• Ability to reputed company work schedule to support project implementation preferred
• The professional in this position should be proficient in proposal and report writing and will have superior writing, time management, and organizational skills
• Strong customer service background and experience/effectiveness in dealing with internal and external customers
• A self-starter who exhibits superior levels of motivation
• Proficiency with reputed company Office, reputed company Acrobat, and Corel DRAW
• Sales experience and client reputed company preferred

EDUCATION

• BS/MS Degree or degree candidate in environmental, civil, environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, industrial hygiene safety or environmental science

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

• Active state asbestos certification(s) required
• EPA Mold Training
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER
• CSST, CAC or CLIA licensure preferred
• Fitwel Ambassador certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The work environment may be both indoors and outdoors. Indoor work takes reputed company in a typical office setting.
