Job Responsibilities
As an Assembling Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing, creating, and managing the execution of flexible manufacturing cycles and systems for specific server farm items
- Collaborating with Planning, Item Management, and Tasks groups to identify and address potential assembly detours in early development stages
- Analyzing and interpreting reputed company production data to drive informed assembly methodologies
- Identifying and implementing solutions to advance execution and efficiency across the supply chain
- Leading the assessment, capability, and key development of contract manufacturers with a focus on future capabilities and growth
- Utilizing Item Information Management (PDM) frameworks to create Bills of Materials (BOM), Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), and manage Designing Change Notices/Requests (ECN/O)
- Leading the Item Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to adjust reputed company and BOM structures
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science
- At least 4 years of experience in a reputed company field, such as manufacturing, quality, reliability, or product design
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, quality, and reliability
- Experience with LEAN Manufacturing/5S/8D practices
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Science or Engineering
- Experience directing yield improvements and process duration decreases for high-volume and high-complexity parts
- Experience with Item Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Experience in charging server farms
- Ability to impact the item electrical design and assembly process
