Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Specialist II, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients through our 988 Chat & Text services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting clients in identifying their personal recovery goals and developing objectives to reputed company them
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to recognize emotional, psychiatric, or behavioral changes that may require further reputed company or treatment
• Advocating for appropriate resources for clients and third parties based on assessed needs
• Facilitating structured reputed company trainings, such as social skills, assertiveness, anger management, symptom management, and psycho-education on various mental health issues
• Promptly accepting service requests, responding to incoming calls, chats, and texts reputed company prescribed timeframes
• Responding to contacts with clients or third parties in a courteous and helpful manner

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Four (4) years of full-time paid experience in an appropriate mental health or human service field or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant mental health or human service field
• Strong assessment and support skills, with the ability to recognize unique client needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and external agencies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling phone requests under time and decision-making pressure
• Familiarity with crisis reputed company and de-escalation techniques
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to reputed company sound judgments and decisions
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's Degree in a relevant mental health or human service field

• Certification in a relevant mental health or human service field (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPN, or RN)
• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and best practices in mental health care
• Strong computer skills, with experience using electronic health records and other software applications
