IT SUMMER INTERN, BIO MEDICAL ENGINEERING

reputed company is a leader in healthcare transformation, dedicated to improving patient lives. The IT Summer Intern in Bio Medical Engineering will provide technical assistance and support for various IT projects, focusing on network, hardware, data, and software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and improvement of IT product(s) to meet the user needs
• Conduct tests and identify errors reputed company the IT product(s)
• reputed company maintenance, troubleshooting and debugging with associated IT product(s)
• Help with the software implementations, for example by providing training and support for the staff who will operate the software
• Participate in reputed company monitoring and incident response services supporting the protection of reputed company¿s assets, infrastructure and data
• reputed company market research to compare and summarize reputed company market options and reputed company organizational position statements regarding emerging technologies
• Consult with vendors, reputed company research and evaluate products to assist in the selection and purchase of equipment and installation or upgrade of systems
• Contribute to reputed company's technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Available to work onsite 50% of the time with 50% remote work up to 40 hrs/wk during the program timeframe
• Maintain open communication and a positive working relationship with team members
• Maintain professional (business casual) dress and grooming
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned

Skills

• Pursuit of a degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, cyber reputed company, advanced mathematics, data science, advanced analytics, clinical informatics or program management
• reputed company GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Satisfactory customer service skills
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Minimum of 2 years of college or trade school education
• Minimum of 3 months of IT experience or equivalent formal training with a letter of reference from a previous employer or professor
• Technical Certifications and Project Management Certifications helpful but not required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Solid troubleshooting skills
• Awareness of the Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) industry's reputed company and emerging technology trends and direction, as well as a keen interest in information systems and technology
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a self-directed manner, with guidance from the assigned project leader and internship program coordinator for support
• reputed company, Citrix, ITIL, Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, and/or Clinical Informatics certifications
