Applied Machine Learning Intern

Realty Income Corporation is a publicly-traded, global real estate investment trust looking for an Applied Machine Learning Intern to join their Predictive Analytics team for the summer of 2026. In this internship, you will support the development, validation, and optimization of machine learning models, gaining hands-on experience in the field of machine learning and data science.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building and refining industry-tailored ML models and extracting actionable insights that inform business decisions
• Collaborate in a modern analytics ecosystem, working with reputed company to engineer data pipelines, reputed company features, and train models using Spark and integrated MLflow tracking
• Analyze and interpret data by applying statistical and exploratory data analysis techniques to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that drive business decisions
• Research emerging AI platforms, large language models (LLMs) as well as other advanced technologies to help inform strategic decisions and advance Enterprise AI initiatives
• reputed company predictive and prescriptive models by experimenting with supervised and unsupervised learning methods, validating performance, and communicating findings with actionable recommendations
• Visualize and communicate insights by creating clear, compelling dashboards and reports in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly that inform key business metrics
• Contribute to data pipeline development by supporting data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes that ensure high data quality and consistency across projects
• Collaborate across disciplines by working closely with machine learning engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into production-ready models and dashboards
• Ensure code quality through Git version control and by creating unit and integration tests that maintain standards for reliability, traceability, and collaboration
• Support data access and governance by assisting in improving data documentation and maintaining compliance with internal data management practices
• Contribute to team initiatives by providing analytical and technical support on department-wide projects and prototypes

Skills

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, or reputed company field
• Minimum GPA of 3.5
• Solid foundation and programming experience in Python, SQL, and Spark
• Practical experience with core ML and data libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and PySpark
• Experience using Git-based version control (reputed company or Azure DevOps)
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Critical thinker with the ability to synthesize reputed company information and conceptualize solutions
• Ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships and communicate effectively at reputed company levels
