[Remote] Clinical R&D Summer Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nuvation Bio is a biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative therapeutic candidates for oncology. The Clinical R&D Summer Intern will rotate through various functions in the Clinical R&D Department, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to a key project to be presented at the end of the internship.
Responsibilities
- The intern will be responsible for attending meetings, assisting with functional tasks reputed company the department
- The intern together with their mentor will identify a key program to focus on for the final internship project
- Deliverables during internship will include assigned tasks and presentation of final project at the end of the summer internship program which will include a presentation in the form of a poster, abstract or presentation
Skills
- Must be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. (e.g., an enrolled student working towards a degree) in a scientific discipline of life sciences, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, materials science, etc.,) with an interest in medical, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical research & development
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a sense of urgency
- Proficiency in reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint)
