[Remote] In-Home Therapist Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a private psychiatric facility providing behavioral health services in Massachusetts and Rhode reputed company. The In-Home Therapist Intern will facilitate intensive family therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic interventions to improve family dynamics and support for youth under 21.

Responsibilities

• As a paid master's level In-Home Therapist (IHT) Intern, you will be facilitating intensive in-home family therapy sessions with youth under the age of 21 and their families with the goal of improving the family’s ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote his/her healthy functioning reputed company the family. This will include implementation of various therapeutic interventions, parent coaching, crisis reputed company, psycho-ed., etc
• You will also have a bachelor’s level para-professional, a Therapeutic Training & Support Staff (TT&S) assigned to your cases. The TT&S will assist you with co-facilitating sessions, treatment planning, and case management. They will work with the client and/or family to practice the skills that you teach in family sessions
• Completion of various paperwork such as reputed company notes, comprehensive and CANS assessments, safety plans, treatment plans, etc
• Availability for crisis reputed company, crisis calls, and skills coaching as needed for your clients
• Frequent care coordination with collateral contacts regarding treatment plan goals and reputed company
• Identify and utilize community resources; provide aftercare referrals to reputed company and maintain natural supports for the youth and parent or caregiver(s) in order to sustain treatment reputed company

Skills

• An IHT intern must be in the final internship for their master's degree in a counseling reputed company field (i.e.- MSW, MS or MS in counseling, psychology, M.Ed. in education with concentration in counseling, etc.)
