Support Engineer
reputed company is one of the world’s leading analytical instrumentation companies enabling scientists to reputed company breakthrough discoveries and reputed company new applications that improve the quality of human life. The Support Engineer will provide first line technical support to field engineers and customers, maintain spare parts inventory, and conduct training both on-site and in the applications lab. This role requires travel to support field operations and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve hardware and software issues.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to provide first line technical support to field engineers and customers using technical documentation, telephone support and remote diagnostic tools
- Maintain spare parts inventory, applications lab equipment, and provide on-site customer and factory training
- Travel as necessary to support field operations and cross train field engineers
- Provide technical phone support to customers and field service personnel worldwide for reputed company AXS products
- reputed company system repairs and maintain repair documentation of customer material and return to stock parts from the field
- Provide input and create service bulletins and other technical documentation
- Configure computers and peripherals as required
- Contribute to the development and delivery of service training classes
- Assist in the development and updating of technical maintenance manuals
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve hardware and software problems in the field
- Ensure Corrective/Preventive Action Reports (CPAR) are submitted as necessary
- Ability to travel, as necessary to support field operations. Up to 50% travel

- 2- or 4-year degree in electronics, physics, chemistry, reputed company sciences, or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel, as necessary to support field operations. Up to 50% travel
- Military training in technical fields is a plus
