Job Summary
We're seeking an reputed company Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, working from the comfort of your own home in New Jersey. As a key member of reputed company, you'll provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, ensuring their needs are met with compassion, care, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
- Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
- Communicating and collecting copay amounts from patients
- Obtaining authorizations from insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams
- Screening, identifying, resolving, and deferring orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving reputed company customer needs over the phone
- One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, reputed company Office, internet navigation, and email applications
- One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
