Software Development Intern
Calian Advanced Technologies is a trusted global company that helps organizations overcome obstacles and manage risks across various sectors. They are seeking a Software Development Intern to support the maintenance and development of their proprietary software, Calian ResponseReady™, working alongside both technical and non-technical teams to build new features and capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate software requirements and create innovative functionalities
- reputed company, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and dependable code
- Optimize applications for performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Identify and resolve performance, usability and scalability issues
- Document application changes and development updates
- reputed company product-reputed company information packages, brochures, and other technical documents; and
- Act as a resource to the Senior Director, Product Manager, and Project Managers in support of developing business opportunities and proposals
Skills
- Must be currently enrolled in a University Degree program reputed company a relevant discipline
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with React ecosystem and frameworks such as Next.js
- Experience with Node.js ecosystem and frameworks such as Express.js
- Ability to build modern, clean, and reputed company user interfaces, and knowledge of best practices in UI design
- Familiarity with REST APIs and back-end services
- Ability to understand and write technical documentation
- Must be eligible for a reliability-level government reputed company clearance
- Experience with building iOS and Android applications using React Native
- Experience with large language models (GPT) and APIs such as reputed company Platform
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and ORM libraries (Prisma.js)
- Experience with cloud-based services and platforms (AWS)
- Understanding of version control systems (Git) and platforms (reputed company)
- Familiarity with PHP-based applications and frameworks (CodeIgniter, WordPress)
- Experience and proficiency in writing technical documents
- Ability to think independently and provide insight and solutions to reputed company problems
